It’s worth checking to see how your pool getting on under its winter cover.
Lift the cover briefly - if your pool has iced over, then break it up to prevent damage to your plastic skimmers and tiles. Pipes can also be prone to freeze in these temperatures. Without the right care, a winter leak can cause big problems in the summer. If your pipes are full of water, the pump should be running. If not - there is a danger of pipes rupturing as the ice expands. I
